Letter From the Baker:
Ever since I was seven years old I’ve had a passion for baking. I’m self-taught, but I started baking professionally at the age of 12 for a restaurant in my hometown. When I was 14 I started Spot Bakery through the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!), a program designed to give young entrepreneurs the skills to run and start a business.
It all began with cupcakes- I wanted to find a way to package them without crushing the frosting swirl on top. From there, I developed and perfected a package design with my dad, Garrick, for cupcakes and french macarons. Now, with the package design patent pending, I have driven my business in the direction of my current baking obsession: MACARONS!
Every week I’m busy dreaming up new flavors, whipping buttercreams, and folding macronage. I hope you love eating my creations as much as I love to make them!
